Up until now

Savannah will be 9 month old on the 24th. She is cruising along all surfaces and climbing through as many obsticles as she can find. She loves to crawl under, over and through her toys, regardless of if they are intended to be crawled through or not. If there is such a thing as a heavy footed crawler it is Savannah. You can hear her crawling down the hall like she's a T-rex rather than a 17lb little girl.

She babbles and many times it sounds like she is singing. Savannah loves to play with nonamae (the dog), Savannah will look at nonamae and then turn around and excitedly crawl away...trying to get nonamae to follow. Nonamae doesn't but it is still really cute to watch.

Savannah gets a kick out of playing peek-a-boo by hiding behind something and then peeking around the side.

She has 7 teeth, 4 on the top and 3 on the bottom, giving her a bit of a lopsided smile. She's always been a thumb sucker, but she has just started biting her arm, leaving teeth marks but not breaking the skin. Not sure how to stop it yet, but hoping it's just a phase and won't last long or turn into her being a biter at school.

She loves to take her baths and will come crawling down the hall whenever she hears the water turned on. She tries to climb into the tub, she's in such a hurry to get in the water, thankfully the sides are too high and slippery for her to actually get in.

She loves to feel different textures from soft and cuddly to bumby and rough.

A Start

I wanted a way to document Savannah's growth and activities. I have to admit that I stole this idea from my sister as she does this with her son. So hopefully I can keep it going and have a wonderful place to look back on and remember the wonderful adventures that Savannah has.
